We Take Water Testing Personally
Protect your water.
Protect your home.
Protect your health.
Protect your water. Protect your home. Protect your health.
We didn’t start out as water experts. We were just worried parents trying to figure out why our kids were sick, but nothing was working...
Our Family’s Story
As a mother of five children who were feeling sick for no discernible reason, I did everything I could — studied protocols, hired specialists, bought filters, and ordered countless water tests from different vendors.
Yet every single result came back clean. And the symptoms continued.
Finally, after wasting thousands of dollars, we found what all the traditional tests and standard filters had missed: an overgrowth of biofilm in our well, harboring bacteria and fungi that were quietly affecting our family’s health.
That discovery changed everything. We realized this wasn’t just our problem.

Kelly Holmes Gorski is a wellness entrepreneur, mother of five, and a passionate advocate for safe, stable water. Elowelle started after Kelly moved her family to a property with a private well, and she realized just how little homeowners know about their water.
What started as a personal search for answers quickly became a calling: to make the invisible world of water microbiology accessible, understandable, and actionable for families everywhere.
Kelly brings a unique blend of scientific perspective and real-world practicality to Elowelle. She believes protecting water is not only about testing—it’s about empowering families with the knowledge and confidence to care for their homes and health for generations to come.
Through Elowelle, Kelly is building more than a company. She is creating a movement toward clarity, trust, and resilience in the way we care for our most vital resource: water.
Did You Know?
➢ Nearly 1 in 6 Americans rely on private wells for drinking water.
➢ In other words, wells are blind spots for 23 million U.S. households.
➢ Unlike public water systems, residential wells are not federally regulated.
➢ That means it’s the homeowner’s responsibility to test and maintain their well.
➢ Biofilm buildup can harbor up to 1,000+ species of bacteria and fungi.
➢ Studies show that microbial contamination is present in up to 60% of untreated private wells—even when basic tests ‘pass.’
About Elowelle
Most homeowners don’t realize that residential wells are unregulated. That means there’s no required testing. No built-in safeguards. No one to explain how or when to check your water.
That’s all on you, the homeowner. But where do you even start?
Elowelle is a water testing company focused on something few people are talking about: your well’s living ecosystem. We assess biostability — the resilience and balance of your well’s microbiome — to reveal hidden risks, microbial shifts, and the long-term health of your water.
Our Mission
At Elowelle, we are committed to protecting every family that drinks and uses well water. We test the unseen biostability of your well’s microbiome, create a tailored treatment and maintenance plan, and walk you through how to keep your system not only safe—but truly healthy, resilient, and balanced.
Because water is life — and you deserve to know what’s in yours.
FAQ
Elowelle: Who We Are
What is Elowelle?
Elowelle is a science-backed water wellness company that helps homeowners understand the microbial stability of their private wells. Instead of looking for single contaminants, we assess the overall balance of your well’s microbiome — identifying shifts, growth patterns, and early signs of biofilm formation before they cause problems.
How is Elowelle different from a standard water test?
Traditional water tests measure what’s in your water (metals, nitrates, bacteria counts). Elowelle measures how your water behaves as an ecosystem — specifically, whether your well supports a healthy, stable microbiome or one that’s shifting toward imbalance. It’s a proactive test, not a reactive one.
Why should I test my well’s biostability?
Even clear, good-tasting water can hide microbial instability. Over time, that instability can lead to biofilm buildup, pipe corrosion, unpleasant odors, and microbial communities that are difficult to treat. Early detection allows you to maintain a stable, resilient system and prevent costly issues down the road.
Well Water Safety & Understanding Your Water
What is well water?
Well water is groundwater drawn from deep aquifers using a private well system.
Where does well water come from?
Well water comes from underground aquifers, often hundreds of feet below ground. Its quality depends on local geology and the maintenance of the well and associated water system.
Is well water bad for you?
If your well water is contaminated or imbalanced, it may cause health problems and other unexplained symptoms (just like it did for our founder, Kelly).
Is well water safe to drink?
Well water can be safe to drink if tested and maintained regularly. Untested wells may harbor harmful bacteria, unbalanced biofilm levels, or other contaminants.
Can well water make you sick?
Untreated or imbalanced well water can cause gastrointestinal, skin, or immune issues, among other symptoms.
Are private wells federally regulated?
Private wells are not regulated, meaning homeowners who rely on a private well for their water must test and maintain them. They are solely responsible for their wells.
